Responsibility
We are seeking an experienced Lorry Driver to join our team in the wholesale trade, responsible for transporting a variety of products to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving large vehicles, with a strong focus on ensuring safe, timely deliveries.
Job Description
- Drive the lorry to deliver products on time and in safe condition, following traffic regulations.
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries and ensure accurate unloading of goods.
- Perform regular checks on the vehicle, ensuring it is in good condition and report any issues.
- Ensure accurate documentation and delivery of goods, reporting discrepancies to the warehouse team.
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS, considering traffic and customer requirements for timely deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct vehicle safety checks, and follow delivery schedules.
- Complete delivery paperwork and report any delays or issues to the supervisor.
- Assist with loading and unloading products, ensuring they are securely transported and handled safely.
- Able to carry heavy goods, roughly 20KG - 40KG.
- Able to work in pressure environment and need work under the sun.
- Need work at public holiday, weekend and overtime.
Working Location: HENDERSON ROAD, 1ST trip will start at 6 am-630am
Requirement
*At least 2 Year(s) working experience and related field are required for this position.
*Must possess at least higher Education/ Diploma in any field.
*Must have a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license
*Familiar driving on Singapore roads or able to use GPS
*Bilingual speaker, need to liaise with Chinese & English client & workers.
*Strategic & critical thinking as well as decision-making and negotiation skills.
Able to adapt, prioritize, exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi task and work independently.
*Excellent customer service skills, including communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and teamwork spirit.
*Time management/ meticulous and mature in work.
