Location: Lifelong Learning Institute, 11 Eunos Road 8, Singapore 408601.
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Thursday), 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Friday).
Overview
We're seeking an intern to join our team in the review and development of IHRP's certification assessment products. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in assessment design and quantitative as well as qualitative research methods.
Responsibilities
Assessment question bank development and review
- Support in setting up questions and collecting reviews by subject matter experts
- Support in managing content development of preparatory materials for assessment
- Analyse question item performance
- Support the coordination / logistics of running pilots of newly developed questions
Research and insights
- Support the team in cleaning and analysing data from existing IHRP’s products to provide insights
- Undertake any other research tasks (e.g. coordinating focus group discussions/surveys and analysing results) as assigned by the supervisor
Additional Responsibilities
- Undertake any other tasks or projects assigned by the supervisor, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Qualifications
- In 3rd to Final Year of Studies in relevant undergraduate programme: (e.g., Psychology, Economics, Sociology).
- Statistical software: Experience with statistical software (e.g. SPSS, R, Stata, Python), knowledge of R is a plus.
- Understanding of research design: Knowledge of research design, survey design methods.
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis: Knowledge of common quantitative models (e.g. linear regression, ANOVA) and qualitative analysis methods (e.g. Thematic analysis).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Ability to articulate ideas clearly and work effectively within a team.
- Self-motivated and proactive: Eager to learn and contribute to the project's success.
