We are looking for a IT Infrastructure Project Manager to ensure successful delivery and support of Networking related projects for a renowned bank.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Has 5-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure development and project management, including coordination with onsite and remote teams;
- Experience in IT infrastructure project management, covering areas like Linux, Windows, Middleware, Databases, Networks, Storage, Firewalls, Technology, and Applications;
- Proficiency in various infrastructure technologies, including Cloud, Networking, Firewalls, Citrix, Active Directory, VMware, Monitoring, Storage, Puppet, Graylog, and related technologies;
- Experience driving and coordinating end-to-end regional enterprise-wide IT infrastructure projects (e.g., data center consolidations, hardware migrations, technology refreshes) within the banking industry;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, particularly during incidents or crises. Adaptable to dynamic environments and capable of managing crisis situations when necessary;
- Ability to work hands-on and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Stakeholder management skills to work with regional teams, infrastructure teams, users, vendors, and others to implement solutions;
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience with cloud-based technologies and container-based platforms;
- Project Management Certifications: Certifications like PMP, Prince 2, PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple IT infrastructure projects at various stages, ensuring they meet objectives, timelines, and financial expectations;
- Define, document, and manage project execution plans, deliverables, scope, and schedules;
- Oversee project quality, resources, risks, and issues;
- Proactively identify risks and manage dependencies and milestones;
- Ensure all projects adhere to the Bank’s policies and regulatory requirements;
- Foster seamless communication and coordination between multiple technical and functional teams across various locations, ensuring smooth project execution;
- Apply the appropriate project management methodologies, including Agile practices, to ensure successful project delivery;
- Identify project risks and their potential impact, and recommend mitigation measures to stakeholders;
- Manage progress reporting (weekly/monthly) and ensure accurate documentation for ongoing projects;
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle from kick-off to go-live, and continue through warranty and support phases;
- Strong self-motivation, organization, time management, and planning skills.
