- Install and configure gas detection systems at customer sites.
- Assess and determine the best locations for sensors.
- Regularly maintain and calibrate gas detection equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Perform preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns.
- Diagnose and fix issues with gas detection systems, including hardware and sensor problems.
- Repair or replace faulty components.
- Provide on-site and remote support to customers for system issues.
- Train customers on the correct use and maintenance of equipment.
- Other ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Min. Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic/ Process Instrumentation / Mechatronics Engineering
- Experience in oil & gas or process industries as training will be provided
- Min 3 years’ experience in service/engineering position in Oil & Gas / Process industry.
- Knowledge in Electrical & instrumentation is preferred
- Work experience in Process Instrumentation is a plus
- Possess a valid class 3 license
