Job Responsibilities
Ansible Automation
- Develop, test, and deploy Ansible playbooks to automate:Infrastructure provisioning
Configuration management
Application deployment
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify automation opportunities and implement efficient solutions.
- Maintain and improve existing Ansible playbooks and modules.
DevOps Practices
- Promote and implement DevOps best practices, including:Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency.
Incident Management
- Respond to incidents and outages, providing timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience:3–5 years of hands-on experience with OpenShift, Ansible, and Red Hat Middleware.
- Technical Skills:Strong understanding of containerization, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Experience with configuration management tools.
Solid background in Linux administration and networking.
- Certifications:Red Hat certifications such as RHCSA and RHCE are expected.
- Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information
- On-call requirements: Rotational after-hours support as needed.
