Deputy Contracts Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors in procurement and contract management.
- Review contract documents and provide cost estimates for tenders.
- Prepare and monitor project cost budgets and cash flow, adjusting budget projections for design/construction changes and variations.
- Oversee main contract progress claims and subcontract payments, including variation claims.
- Resolve contract disputes and assess entitlements for extensions of time and loss/expense claims.
- Independently manage large-scale projects.
- Maintain records of all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
- Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders.
- Ensure timely finalisation of main and subcontract agreements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contract negotiation, administration, and/or management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-oriented approach.
- Experience in infrastructure projects is preferred.
