Engineer/Senior engineer (Fire protection)
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise subcontractors based on shop drawings and method statements.
- Collaborate with authorities and clients on materials and samples.
- Review fire protection design drawings for compliance (e.g., Sprinkler, Fire Alarm).
- Identify discrepancies in M&E, structural, and architectural provisions.
- Manage project execution and attend contractor meetings.
- Review compliance of drawings and allocate tasks to supervisors.
- Plan and lead testing of fire protection systems.
- Coordinate site inspections and rectify defects.
- Prepare manuals and as-built drawings for client handover.
Education / Experience / Skills:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in MS Office with strong communication skills.
- Experience with Water Mist or Foam systems is a plus.
