ROLE OVERVIEW
The Packaging category assistant Manager for SEA will be responsible for supporting the SEA Category Manger in delivering packaging category strategies across SEA.
Responsibilities:
• Supports execution of relevant packaging projects for SEA under the guidance of the SEA Packaging Category Manager.
• Oversight of relevant packaging projects within SEA to ensure they are delivered as in accordance with market roadmaps.
• Identify any risks associated with delivering relevant packaging projects by leading resolution of critical issues impacting the projects and subsequently driving decisions to closure, escalating where appropriate.
• Support and report tracking, status and risks for relevant packaging projects
• Balancing cross-functional departments through partnering with key stakeholders that are working against the delivery of relevant packaging projects
• Ability to lead and influence project team members to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work; tries to resolve any issues/challenges directly with team members and escalates to management if needed.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, technical or packaging related discipline or minimum of 3 years in project management within the Food Service, QSR, Consumer Packaged Goods or Pharmaceutical industries.
• Minimum 3 years in packaging-related industry/discipline with demonstrated success in packaging.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization: business acumen, communication, interpersonal, influencing, relationship-building and presentation skills.
• Excellent communicator at all levels of the organization
• Solid theoretical knowledge of primary package design and manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Analytical approach to problem solving and decision making with impeccable organizational skills and attention to details.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with technical software tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
