Job purpose
The Corporate Branding & Strategy Division has been newly established to enhance MOL's branding both externally and internally. Our goal is to engage with stakeholders such as customers, investors, partners, local governments, community members, and employees across various regions.
With over 10 group companies in Singapore, MOL (Asia Oceania) Pte. Ltd. (MOLAO) serves as a key regional hub, supporting group companies in Southeast Asia and Oceania.
The Assistant Manager in the Corporate Branding & Strategy Division will work closely with direct manager to develop and execute communication plans by following strategy and direction. Our primary mission is to enhance brand value and build a positive reputation for the MOL brand across the region through various touchpoints, including the corporate website, social media, local and regional media, events, etc.
In addition, we collaborate with various divisions and entities to improve employee experiences and engagement through internal communications.
Duties and Responsibilities
Branding
- Collaborate with managers to develop and execute brand communication plans.
- Create, manage, and update brand communication guidelines and workflows.
- Execute brand communication plans with stakeholders across divisions, entities, and countries in Southeast Asia and Oceania.
- Develop, manage, and update regional branded materials and global assets provided by HQ (Tokyo).
External Communication
- Develop and manage annual communication plans and projects.
- Execute communication plans with stakeholders across divisions, entities, and countries in Southeast Asia and Oceania.
- Research, propose, and implement new or improved communication methods (e.g., website, regional social media strategies, and other touchpoints).
Internal Communication
- Develop and execute internal communication plans, including events, to enhance transparency and engagement.
- Foster employee understanding of MOL's brand value, operations, talents, and opportunities across Asia and Oceania.
Crisis Communication
- Follow crisis procedures as instructed by GHQ.
- Support GHQ upon request.
- Provide regional crisis communication guidance and training to employees.
Manage relevant outsources and partners:
- Lead and/or assisting to manage outsourced vendors and partners to execute communication plans, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.
Job Requirements
- Degree or diploma in communication, branding, marketing, or a relevant field (advantageous).
- Must hv experience in shipping industry
- Digital Communication: Excellent understanding and experience in developing and managing corporate websites, social media (SNS), and other digital communication practices.
