about the job
- Prepare drawing submissions to all authority departments
- Coordinate on matters relating to code compliance
- Inspect all drawings for code compliance, drafting standards and plan presentations before submission to authorities and provide advice to colleagues on non-compliance
- Attend site/TOP inspections to ensure work site is compliant with and built according to approved plans
- Liaise with consultants and authorities on all matters relating to code compliance
- Assist in preparation and checking of drawings for buildability and coordination with consultants;
- Conversant in statutory code and requirements
job requirement
- Degree / Diploma in Civil & Structural / Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge in Revit
- Knowledge in preparation of drawings for construction and submission to local authorities.
- Proficiency in BIM & CAD operation
- Registered RTO with BCA / IES / ACES
- Able to commence immediately or within short notice
- 6 month contract for a start and possibile to extend thereafter
