We are representing our client, a local church organisation to look for an experienced HR Operations Specialist to complement the existing team.
This role delivers the HR Value Proposition, in support of the People Strategy, through the efficient and efficacious functioning of HR processes. This includes staff attraction, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, learning and development, SDR process and HRIS.
Responsibilties
- Flexible and Hybrid way of work post-pandemic. Contribute to building a collaborative and relational culture.
- Implement staff attraction and recruitment processes to meet staffing needs and build pipeline. Manage vendors (ministry support), polytechnic or university interns (if any).
- Manage Confirmation Assessment process, Staffing-related Contracts Renewal and Exit-related processes.
- Work with Payroll Vendor to ensure monthly payroll is processed accurately and on a timely basis. This includes following up on the payroll process, verifying and approving payroll reports, and addressing Board Chairman and Treasurer queries if any.
- Support the full implementation of the Staff Development Review Process annually.
- Coach supervisors and staff on Staff Development Review related conversations and processes.
- Deepen the Pre-Boarding and Onboarding engagement experience to ease contextual transition to full-time ministry.
- Build up learning journeys as part of L&D roadmap. Consolidate & review staff development needs via annual SDR process.
- Ensure data integrity of HR Information System, in consultation with external vendor.
- Be familiar with the HRIS for annual data rollover, including leave & claims.
- Support HR site administration in Sharepoint in consultation with IT.
- Ensure HR information such as organization chart and staff announcements etc. are updated regularly.
- HR Projects - This may include Staff Wellness, Digital or Productivity-related continuous improvement projects.
- Survey Support for Ministry of Manpower, SNEF surveys as needed.
- Address staff-related queries to above-mentioned.
- Staff participation in church-wide events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong HR operations experience and In-depth knowledge of local employment law in accordance with TAFEP guidelines, IRAS and CPF Act is required.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Digitally-saavy and experience with HR systems is required.
