Who We Need
Your key responsibilities are:
- Assist in admissions and provide orientation on room and ward facilities.
- Porter duties such as transfer of patients from one location to another.
- Assist patient with showering when required.
- Perform bathing and umbilical care for neonates.
- Take meal orders, serve meals and drinks, assist with feeding, and prepare milk formula for pediatric patients.
- Prepare and assist with feeding newborns in the nursery.
- Assist postnatal mothers with breastfeeding.
- Assists with using and managing bedpans, urinals, commodes, vomit bowls, measures and empties catheter bags and removes urinary catheters.
- Assists with positioning, transferring and mobilising the patient.
- Assist with emergency procedures as directed by the trained nurse e.g. Code Blue, Code Red and Code Green.
- In charge of the overall environmental functions such as bed making, changing linen and general maintenance of all areas to keep clean and tidy.
How to Succeed
- Possess at least GCE‘N’ Level.
- Certificate in Health Care Assistant is highly preferred for this position.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in the healthcare industry.
- To perform shift duties including weekends and public holidays.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
