Requirements:
- Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years in a finance or accounting role and be well versed in handling multiple accounts including construction work in progress accounts.
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and planning of budgets. Monitor and report on budget variances. Develop financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Accounting Operations: Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure they are up-to-date.
- Audit and Compliance: Participate in internal and external financial audits. Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures. Implement and review financial controls to mitigate risks.
- Financial Strategy and Planning: Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management. Develop and implement financial policies to improve operational efficiency. Supports the GM in strategic financial planning and decision-making
- Team Management: Supervise and train finance assistants. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations, costing and tracking efficiency. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
