Responsibilities:
- Engage stakeholders: Translate business requirements into application infrastructure designs and services that meet the intended availability, capacity, resiliency, security, and continuity needs.
- Forecast budgets: Determine the budget required to support project initiatives and maintenance contracts, ensuring financial alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with service providers: Design, develop, deploy, and configure IT application infrastructure projects, ensuring confidentiality, availability, and data integrity needs are met.
- Ensure compliance: Align Agency’s Technical Architecture and application infrastructure with IM8 and Agency’s IT Policies and Standards.
- Manage day-to-day delivery: Oversee the day-to-day operation and support of application infrastructure services, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Facilitate government-wide services: Collaborate with other government agencies and central services teams to facilitate and deliver government-wide application services.
Experience and Skills Needed:
- Education: Degree or Diploma in IT, computer, or related disciplines.
- Experience:Minimum 3 years of working experience for Engineer roles, with at least 1 full project development lifecycle experience.
Minimum 5 years of working experience for Senior Engineer roles, with at least 3 full project development lifecycle experiences.
- Skills:Ability to take a broad, strategic perspective while understanding and addressing business needs and challenges.
Results and customer-oriented mindset.
Strong organizational and people-handling skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas, influence stakeholders, and convey complex technical concepts clearly.
- Certifications: ITIL v3 Foundation certification preferred.
