As the overall in-charge of the clinic, you are responsible for the management of a multi-disciplinary specialist clinic offering coordinated care services from various disciplines.
You will manage teams to uphold nursing and service quality standards, patient care and experience, as well as the overall integrated co-ordination of services to build a culture of CARE to support our patients' needs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the smooth daily operations of the clinic and Day Surgery Operating Theatre (DSOT) by putting in place an effective and efficient system to manage patients.
- Oversee the documentation of all procedures/processes and ensure that they are in line with MOH directives and requirements for all relevant licenses, as well as any Company’s SOP.
- Plan and manage clinic and DSOT roster, inventory levels, and upkeep of equipment, according to expected patient turnout, to ensure sufficient manpower, supplies and services for each day’s operations.
- Implement an effective appointment management system and monitor performance.
- Ensure that the department adheres to all internal controls and standard procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of clinical and service quality and attend to customer feedback and complaints promptly and completely. Report on corrective and preventive actions.
- Identify areas of improvement and work with the Head of Department in executing the initiatives.
- To work closely with the Head of Department, the team of medical doctors, nurses, other allied health professionals, and patient service officers, for matters of clinical standards and safety.
- Ensure drug orders/ inventory and medical records, theatre supplies, and equipment maintenance are all in order.
- Responsible for the management and maintenance of the facility premises and its contents.
- Provide feedback about the purchase of products and services supplied by vendors to assist in vendor evaluations.
- Maintain quality medical records within the statutory required retention period through proper identification, filing, storage, maintenance, and disposition of records.
- Evaluate and update risk assessment for the Centre.
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 5 years in a healthcare clinic setting, with at least 2 years in a similar capacity with supervisory experiences
- Experience as nurse (Senior Staff Nurse I equivalent) with at least 2 years in operating theatres
- Competent in endoscopy, colonoscopy procedures
