Our client is a leading global leader in medical R&D. They have operations globally across Taiwan, Europe, China, Korea etc. and they’re now on a look out for a R&D manager to join their dynamic team during an exciting time in their development.
What you will be here for
- R&D design of medical products
- Developing and evaluating new materials, structures (including frame profiles) and product designs
- Drive quality improvement in the mechanical aspect
- Build-up and conduct mechanical simulations and modelling
- Plan, coordinate and execute product enhancements
- Manage all stages of the product lifecycle, including conceptual design, prototyping, testing,validation, and transition to manufacturing
- Oversee the design, analysis, and development of complex mechanical systems
What you will need
- Phd / Msc / Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
- Min 15 years of experience in R&D mechanical design - medical devices / instrumentation / consumer electronics background with 7 years in a leadership role
- Competed at least 2 full new product lifecycle
- Expertise in Finite Element Modelling and Analysis
- Experience in modeling/simulation software is a must (SolidWorks, ANSYS).
- Knowledge of statistical data analysis methods and DOE
- Familiar with Product Reliability Test Design / Failure Analysis / Documentation will be a plus
