We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a passion for collaborating with multidisciplinary, global teams to bring innovative immersive technologies to life in a dynamic environment. This role is inherently cross-functional and requires expertise in leading technical software initiatives, program management, effective communication, and strong leadership to influence and align stakeholders.
As a TPM, you will play a key role in structuring programs and projects that align with roadmaps, ensuring cross-functional prioritization, establishing detailed execution plans, and overseeing end-to-end delivery with clear and transparent communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage complex, cross-functional program plans (including requirements, milestones, and schedules) across a matrix organization involving engineering (software), product, user experience, and content teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and execute detailed plans, ensuring on-time delivery of product milestones.
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate progress towards partnership goals while addressing challenges proactively.
- Build and execute technical roadmaps by identifying dependencies, constraints, and risks, and developing mitigation strategies to ensure smooth delivery.
- Facilitate challenging conversations with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve outcomes.
- Represent the organization in external client meetings to foster collaboration and alignment.
- Regularly communicate program planning, status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, translating complex updates into clear and concise messages for both program stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Contribute to the establishment of best practices for technical program management by designing and implementing scalable processes to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- With 5+ years of experience in the technology industry as a technical program manager or engineering manager, leading software and/or hardware development initiatives.
- With 3+ years of experience working on complex media or entertainment products, including Unity on Android devices.
- Background in entertainment or media, with a focus on complex product development.
- Experience in developing MR/VR software products is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through the software development lifecycle, driving technical maturity and delivery.
- Strong skills in task prioritization, managing multiple projects concurrently, and meeting deadlines.
