*This role will be hired on contract basis to support our client's upcoming project.*
About the role:
Bidding Phase:
- Assist Project Management in selecting CAD software, evaluating client requirements, and exploring alternative solutions.
- Support Project Management in assessing cost and schedule impacts associated with 3D model tool selection.
Project Execution:
- Ensure the review and application of contractual requirements within the area of responsibility.
- Prepare project specifications for 3D software setup and user guidelines.
- Set up 3D modeling and review tools, providing support to 3D model specialists.
- Collaborate with the ICT team to manage activities related to 3D modeling software systems.
- Develop and maintain component libraries by gathering required component dimensions and data.
- Identify critical issues in 3D model development within the scope of responsibility and propose recovery measures.
- Establish tools for issuing 2D drawings and extracting data, including piping isometric drawings and MTOs.
- Configure the 3D model for data import and export processes.
- Ensure standardization of 2D drawing formats and 3D model elements.
- Contribute to constructability analyses through dedicated review sessions.
Construction Phase:
- Assist the construction team in setting up spooling tools.
- Provide support for as-built 3D modeling activities.
Staff Activities:
- Advocate for the optimization of engineering workflows and technical standards to enhance efficiency.
- Gather project feedback to drive continuous improvement of workflows (Lessons Learned).
- Research and evaluate new CAD tools in the market.
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate CAD software training for personnel.
