The Job:
- Manage and oversee faculty development initiatives
- Assist in tracking and monitoring the faculty’s performance
- Manage and oversee tenure-track and tenured faculty recruitment initiatives and activities
- Responsible for planning, initiating and outreach to identify potential candidates for the faculty’s position
- Manage and oversee non-tenure track structured faculty appointments and re-appointments
- Responsible for managing the end-to-end process of faculty appointment and re-appointment
- Manage and oversee the annual faculty performance appraisal exercise
- Coordinate and oversee the annual faculty performance appraisal process, ensuring timely completion and adherence to institutional policies and procedures
- Coordinate and oversee the entire faculty promotion and tenure process, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures
- Manage and oversee the nomination of faculty for local and international awards
The Requirement:
- A recognized degree in Engineering / Science with minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the administration in an Institute of Higher Learning
