Our client is a leading life insurance company, seeking a detail-oriented Actuarial IFRS17 Assistant Manager to join the actuarial team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the implementation and ongoing management of IFRS 17 reporting standards, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
About the job
- Support the implementation and maintenance of IFRS 17 processes, models, and systems.
- Perform actuarial valuations and financial reporting in line with IFRS 17 requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IFRS 17 standards.
- Develop and validate actuarial models, including cash flow projections and risk adjustments.
- Prepare and review technical documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve reporting processes and outcomes.
- Monitor regulatory updates and ensure compliance with evolving standards.
Skills and experience required
- Associate or nearly qualified Fellow of a recognized actuarial body (e.g., IFoA, SOA).
- At least 4 years of actuarial experience in life insurance or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS 17 standards and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in actuarial modelling software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
