- Lead and achieve sales, gross profit, and income targets for assigned categories by monitoring market segment trends, creating strategies to increase market share, and planning actions to address competition.
- Establish and execute effective inventory management practices to ensure an optimal product mix that aligns with customer needs, while also minimizing shrinkage.
- Design and implement promotional campaigns that generate excitement and drive additional sales in stores.
- Create and execute placement and planogram strategies that enhance category turnover and positively influence customer purchasing behavior.
- Supervise the execution of category strategies and oversee the development of private label or house-brand products.
- Build strong relationships with business partners and stay informed about consumer behavior, market dynamics, and industry trends.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment by consistently reviewing market and industry trends to optimize the product mix for target customers.
- Formulate and implement a competitive pricing strategy that offers value to our customers.
