Responsibilities
- Identifying the challenges upfront and communicate it on time.
- Supporting the UAT test manager in all the JIRA set up, test plans and tracking and following up things on behalf of UAT manager.
- Able to back up UAT test manager, able to work closely and support in all activities of the UAT test manager.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, defect reports, and test summaries.
- Able to track project for the BAU solution, day to day activities of the project, follow up on the open items and bring them to closure accordingly.
- Preparation of the Test Plans for L1, L2 and L3 including test approach.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project goals and timelines including run plans for different run cycles.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of test engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective test execution and career development.
- Oversee the execution of test cases, including manual and automated testing, to identify and report defects and ensure thorough coverage of requirements.
- Ensure that all software products meet established quality standards and adhere to industry best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide status updates, and resolve issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with testing activities, ensuring that potential issues are identified and addressed proactively.
Skills Requirement
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering
- Hands on experience in setting the project in JIRA, expertise in JIRA, tracking status, preparing different types of reports as per the stakeholders’ requirements.
- Knowledge and experience working on various testing frameworks
- Knowledge of AGILE delivery practices
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze quantitatively, understand requirements and effectively translate to testing deliverables.
