Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Associate Consultant specializing in Application Security to join our cybersecurity team. This role involves conducting security assessments, supporting secure software development, and ensuring the adoption of best practices in application security.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability scans, and basic penetration testing.
- Assist developers in designing and implementing secure applications.
- Conduct initial code reviews to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Document security findings, remediation activities, and incident response actions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of application security principles and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with security tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, or Qualys.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum Experience: 3+ years
