As a Resident Physician, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Doing daily ward rounds to review the patient’s condition and ordering treatment when required.
- Attending to new admissions by reviewing patient’s referral notes and performing physical examinations.
- Attending to outpatient cases for all cases.
- Performing clinical procedures such as suturing, venipuncture, setting up IV and etc.
- Attending to any emergencies in ward.
- Participating in any research work, training sessions, workshops and seminars.
Requirements
- Existing registration with SMC or Basic Medical Degree from recognized universities.
- With prior 3 years of working experience
- Post graduate training in geriatric/palliative/family medicine has added advantage.
