Purpose:


As a strategic HRBP, you will drive business outcomes by aligning HR strategies with organizational objectives, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, and delivering tailored solutions to enhance employee experience, engagement and performance. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, navigating complex HR issues and opportunities to fuel business growth and success.


Responsibilities:


  • Align people strategies and policies in Business Units with the overall corporate mission and objectives.
  • Act as employee champion and change agent to Business Units
  • Responsible to manage BUs and drive EES results/ surveys.
  • Work with Management to drive relevant HR strategies.
  • Plan, execute and track key activities which includes but not limited to promotion, annual increment cycle, performance management etc. that deliver impact
  • Observe operations workflow and recommend policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Detect potential issues within operations and provides solutions to respective parties.
  • Establish partnerships with internal team and to deliver value added services to both management and employees that reflect the desired outcome of organizations’ people strategies.
  • Collaborate with COEs on projects to implement HR strategies eg. C&B, HRI, L&D initiatives and projects
  • Provide consultancy to hiring managers in identifying potential candidates.
  • Ensure high levels of internal customer satisfaction.
  • Participate and support the drive towards branding of as an employer of choice.
  • Review and participate in HR process improvement projects.
  • Engage in conflict resolution, investigations, and performance improvements of staff matters.
  • Promoting diversity, equality and inclusion in hiring and daily operations
  • Responsible for headcount reporting and consolidation of all OpCos headcount reports (monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, ad hoc) for submission to Japan HQ and relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare FBAP HQ bi-annual headcount plan in close collaboration with TA and C&B team
  • Collaborate closely with Japan HQ headcount team to ensure alignment with their direction and requirements.
  • Review and communicate updates of guidelines/requirements to OpCos headcount PICs in a timely manner.
  • Provide direction and advice to OpCo headcount PICs on queries; support in troubleshooting of report submission.

What we are looking for:


  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or relevant area of study is preferred.
  • HR experience required with ideally 3 - 4 years of HR business partnering which exclude other HR experience in a corporate environment.
  • Possess strong consultative skills and proven record in customer relationship management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Possess working knowledge of local employment legislation and practices, and statutory programs.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, added experience with reporting tools (i.e Power BI) will be a bonus.
  • Analytical and an eye for detail, comfortable with number crunching
  • Able to effectively manage demanding workloads and competing priorities.
  • A self-starter who can work in a complex and challenging environment.
  • Critical thinker, analytical and good problem-solving skills for evaluating business challenges.
  • Strong business acumen
