Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Preparation of budget plans, business plans
- Set and monitor ambitious yet achievable sales targets across local stores, multibrand retail networks, and dealer partnerships to drive revenue growth
- Performance Optimization: Drive retail, multibrand and ecommerce performance by setting ambitious sales targets and crafting innovative action plans that elevate both qualitative and quantitative outcomes
- Develop the selective distribution strategy in accordance with brand; visibility: space and business targets. Develop proposals to strengthen the market to go strategy
- KPIs & Incentives: Help design and implement compelling KPIs and incentive programs to motivate business, teams and enhance sales performance
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses of market trends and customer feedback to refine strategic initiatives and drive growth
- Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits
- Support partners in planning, product allocation and stock management based on the agreed product mix
- Develop and monitor action plan to achieve commercial qualitative and quantitative KPIs
- Collaborate with partners and dealers on promotional strategies, and sales initiatives to maximize performance. Lead, engage, and inspire teams to exceed sales targets
- Communicate regularly with MD on status of accounts, forecasts, sales analysis and other relevant reports
- Full accountability for P&L in SEA
Excellence in Business Operations (Retail, multiband, ecommerce)
- Negotiate and manage dealer agreements, ensuring optimal terms and conditions for the brand while fostering long-term partnerships
- Conduct regular market and partner visits to refine sales strategies based on real-time insights into customer preferences, competition, and market dynamics
- Operational Integrity: Ensure all point of sales / experience operations adhere to global standards and best practices, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance
- Team Management: Lead and inspire teams by establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and a structured approach to performance management. Ensure regular meetings and follow-ups
- New Stores, product launches: Oversee the successful management of current and new stores, product launches, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness and operational efficiency
- Standardizing process to improve customer’s satisfaction.
Talent Development & People Management
- Succession Planning: Recruit, identify and nurture high-potential talent, ensuring a robust pipeline of future managers and experts
- Employee Engagement: Create a dynamic and supportive work culture that fosters employee retention, satisfaction, and empowerment
- Coordinate with HR and conduct appraisals, development plans on a yearly basis
- Training & Development: Assess training needs and implement tailored development programs to enhance team competencies and performance
- Foster a learning culture within sales and retail teams by providing regular coaching, feedback, and opportunities for skill enhancement
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Client Engagement: Develop and execute with all markets / point of sales / experience a comprehensive CRM strategy that fosters long-term relationships with both new and existing customers
- VIP Client Strategy: Implement targeted initiatives to attract and retain VIP clients, enhancing their shopping experience and loyalty to the brand. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Event Planning: Lead the organization with retail events that elevate the brand’s profile and engage key clientele
- Business Owners: Develop and foster long term relationships, Lead negotiations and oversee contract management processes
- Leverage CRM insights to enhance sales strategies and personalize customer engagement for increased loyalty and repeat business
Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent the brand at industry events and forums to build relationships and support sales, operations, and growth initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years relevant experience with at least 5 years working at senior managerial level
- Concrete and practical experience of managing a qualitative retail network with directly operated stores
- Client driven profile with a proven experience and results with the acquisition of final clients and prospects
- Work efficiently with the Retail / Multibrand / Ecomm Teams (Store managers and sales teams on operational management, recruitment, planning)
- Entrepreneurial vs executing leader: building the engine vs making the engine run
- Strategic ability without losing sight of operational implications
- Willingness to grow with the organization and its current respective size and challenges
- Excellent interpersonal ability, analytical, presentation and negotiation skills
- Thoughtful leader and ardent team player with demonstrated decision-making, coaching and problem-solving abilities
- Sales driven and result oriented
- Strategic orientated, able to inspire and motivate others, think globally, creative, positive and persistent, and with strong mindset of integrity
