Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Java Developer to join our software engineering team in participating in the development and maintenance of software systems for a leading organization.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Information System, Engineering;
- At least 5 years of experience in software design and development in Java / J2EE;
- Strong hands on experience in Java/J2EE technologies i.e. JSP, Servlets , JSF, JSTL, Spring, Hibernate;
- Proficient in Java, XML, SOAP, and RESTful APIs;
- Familiarity with tools like SonarQube for code quality monitoring;
- Hands-on experience with Milestone VMS and MIP SDK;
- Experience in database design and development using RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle);
- Passionate in software design, development and new technologies;
- Good understanding open-source media players i.e. VLC Player, OpenCV and Linux/Windows OS shell scripting;
- Able to work independently and also a strong collaborative team player;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience for Video Content Analytics;
- SCJP certified.
Responsibilities
- Part of the team to design and develop software products for video content analysis;
- Responsible to gather and collect user requirements and document for overall software design;
- Work collaboratively with team members for system and module integration and testing within project milestones;
- Responsible for training and supporting end-users on the software implementation and delivery;
- Work with pre-sales teams and to recommend video intelligence solutions to customers;
- Build rapport with customers to understand their pain-points and business needs;
- Provide documentation & manuals for all phases of project lifecycle from requirements, design, operation, testing and post support.
