Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth in the freight forwarding segment.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying potential clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers, providing exceptional customer service and addressing customer inquiries.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, negotiate pricing and contracts, and close sales deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, customer service, and finance to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery to customers.
- Provide sales support by preparing quotes, tracking shipments, and resolving customer issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience in Sales / Business Development - Freight Forwarding (Air, Ocean), Logistics or Shipping Industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn sales tools.
