Responsibilities:
- User Interface Design:Develop user interfaces for websites, applications, and digital platforms, focusing on enhancing usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
- Graphic Design, Colour and Typography:Create graphics, icons, illustrations, and visual elements that align with design concepts and branding guidelines.
Select appropriate color palettes and typography that complement brand identity and enhance readability and visual hierarchy.
- Layout and Responsive Design:Arrange elements on screens or pages to achieve balanced and harmonious compositions.
Ensure designs adapt seamlessly to different screen sizes and devices.
- Wireframing and Prototyping:Create low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design concepts before final implementation.
- UX Collaboration:Collaborate with UX designers and researchers to understand user needs and behaviors, informing the design process.
- Style Guides and Design Systems:Develop and maintain style guides or design systems for consistent design elements and brand identity.
- Usability Testing:Participate in usability testing to gather feedback and make iterative improvements.
- Accessibility:Ensure designs meet accessibility standards for users with disabilities, following best practices.
- Iterative Design:Refine designs based on user feedback and testing, adopting an iterative design approach.
Experience and Skills Needed:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Visual/UI/Web Designer.
- Degree or Diploma in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
- Proficient in graphic design principles, including layout, composition, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Strong portfolio showcasing visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
- Advanced knowledge of design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, or other industry-standard tools.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Creative mindset and willingness to stay updated with design trends.
