Job Title: Product Manager - Associate Consultant
Salary: $7,800.00
Eligibility: SC/PR
Responsibilities:
- Requirement Elicitation & Management:Engage with stakeholders to identify and understand the requirements of software systems.
Participate in product conceptualization sessions to elicit requirements.
Document business/user requirements and translate them into user stories for development.
Continuously clarify and review requirements with stakeholders through walkthroughs.
Work with developers to interpret and implement the requirements technically.
- Product Design & Testing:Analyze requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, business models, and processes.
Collaborate with Product Owner on project schedules, issues, and escalation management.
Provide inputs to the development team for product implementation.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT):Work with UX designers and business users to plan for UAT, coordinate, and monitor progress and acceptance.
- Documentation & Process Improvement:Ensure completion of necessary documentation and filings to facilitate software development.
Continuously identify ways to improve operations and streamline work processes in collaboration with users' departments.
- Project Management (for smaller projects):Create project status reports and communication materials.
Develop project proposals to secure funding and justify resource allocations.
Manage project scope and stakeholders’ expectations.
Escalate issues to the right people in a timely manner.
Maintain and refine the Product Backlog.
Maintain the Project RAID Log and follow up on action items.
Experience and Skills Needed:
- More than 2 years of experience as a business analyst in software development projects.
- Experience with web-based and business process software systems implementation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including minute-taking and technical writing.
- Ability to develop business cases and user stories.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/XP), UX development, and workshop facilitation is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, Balsamiq, and BPM modeling techniques is a plus.
- Certification as Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner, or Certified Business Analysis Professional is an added advantage.
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
