We are representing our client one of the world largest group in aluminium smelting industry, we are hiring Deputy General Manager .


In this critical role, you will play a key part in driving the success of our client by providing strategic leadership and operational oversight. You will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficient production, safety, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:


Leadership & Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans aligned with company objectives.

Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across all departments.

Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Resource Management:

Oversee and optimize the allocation of resources (human, financial, and material) to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.

Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.

Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, providing clear direction and updates.

Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

Drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies to enhance plant performance.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.


To qualify this role,


You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in a managerial role within the aluminum smelting industry, with a proven track record of success in managing a plant of similar size and production capacity.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Strong understanding of safety, environmental, and quality management systems.

Excellent financial acumen and budget management skills.
