- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and advanced analytics tools.
- Design and optimize relational database models and queries.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
- Ensure data quality through validation, cleaning, and management processes.
- Expand public market data collection and maintain data freshness.
- Collaborate with business users to gather feedback and iterate on data solutions.
- Contribute to master and referential data management practices.
- Follow software development best practices, including source control and testing.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager.
skills and experience required
Minimum 2 years of experience working with large datasets. Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or R, with knowledge of data processing libraries.
Hands-on experience with RDBMS design, querying, and ETL/ELT workflows.
Familiarity with reporting tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or similar. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
The ideal candidate has a background in trading or commodities and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
