Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Production Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing 24/7 application support, troubleshooting, and system optimization for production systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java-based applications, database management, and system monitoring, preferably within the banking or anti-money laundering domain.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Rotational Shift Support:

· Provide 24/7 rotational application support, ensuring continuous system availability.

2. Incident and Problem Management:

· Manage incidents and problems to minimize service interruptions.

· Identify root causes and resolve production issues related to performance and reliability.

3. System Monitoring and Health Checks:

· Monitor production systems using tools like Grafana to ensure SLAs are met.

· Conduct regular health checks and job scheduling for optimal system performance.

4. Troubleshooting and Optimization:

· Debug and resolve production issues across the software stack, including Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

· Proactively identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to prevent problems.

5. System Improvement and Automation:

· Continuously improve system efficiency through job automation and performance tuning.

· Identify and fix bugs to enhance reliability.

6. Technical Expertise:

· Utilize SQL Server/Oracle databases to write and debug SQL programs.

· Manage applications in Linux/Unix and Windows environments with scripting.

· Leverage tools like GIT Bitbucket and Jenkins for version control and CI/CD processes.

· Work with technologies such as Actimize or Hadoop (preferred).

Requirements:

Experience:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices troubleshooting.

• 3–5 years of experience in production support for banking applications or anti-money laundering systems.

• Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux environments.

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in SQL Server/Oracle databases, with the ability to write and debug SQL programs.

• Proficiency in system monitoring tools like Grafana (preferred).

• Knowledge of GIT Bitbucket, Jenkins, and scripting languages.

• Familiarity with Actimize, Hadoop, or similar tools is a plus.
