Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the compliance team to ensure the organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs, procedures, and controls across the organization.
- Monitor changes in local and international regulations, assessing their impact on the organization and ensuring necessary adjustments to compliance strategies.
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to identify potential risks or weaknesses and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of compliance reports to regulatory authorities and senior management.
- Provide expert advice on complex compliance matters, working closely with senior management and other departments, including legal and finance.
- Design and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels, fostering a culture of compliance across the organization.
- Investigate compliance issues, lead internal investigations, and manage the response to regulatory inquiries or enforcement actions.
- Ensure that compliance documentation is accurate, up to date, and readily available for audits and inspections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation of compliance-related changes and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as CAMS, CFE, or similar are a plus.
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in compliance management, regulatory affairs, or risk management.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and risk management frameworks.
- Proven track record in leading compliance programs, audits, and investigations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex issues and propose practical solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and drive change within the organization at all levels.
- Proficiency in compliance software, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
