Our client is one of the leader in the banking industry, they are seeking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join the team on a 12 month contract
Job Description:
- Infra Structure Engineer BAU 24/7 Operations support.
- Critical system monitoring.
- Quick health check and service recovery.
- Escalate issue to next level and follow-up with vendor.
- Preventive measure action.
- Change management process.
- Live capacity upgrades.
- Implement UAT, production changes.
- Incident management.
Requirements:
- 5 plus years of experience in Banking Infrastructure environment.
- Monitor the health of the Linux, Windows, AIX, VMware servers through both automated and manual processes.
- Perform server hardware maintenance and upgrades.
- Timely action to resolve or escalate to the next level for investigation. Great knowledge in handling incident, change management process.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers in a Linux, Windows environment. Maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and programs.
- Good knowledge of the fundamentals of VMware ESX and related technologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Great organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Availability to resolve urgent environment problems outside of business hours. 24/7 support require to handle BAU Operations in 3 rotating shifts.
