Job Responsibilities:
Branding
- Work closely with managers to support the development and execution of brand communication plans.
- Assist and collaborate with managers in creating, managing, and updating brand communication guidelines and workflows.
- Help execute the brand communication plan in collaboration with relevant stakeholders across divisions, entities, and local offices in Southeast Asia and Oceania.
- Contribute to the development, management, and enhancement of regional branded materials, and manage the global assets provided by the HQ CC division.
External Communication: Enhancing company public image
- Support managers in developing an annual communication plan and oversee projects to ensure successful execution.
- Collaborate with managers to implement the communication plan, working with relevant stakeholders across divisions, entities, and local offices in Southeast Asia and Oceania.
- Assist managers in researching, proposing, and implementing new or improved communication strategies, such as enhancing the company website, developing regional social media strategies, and utilizing other relevant touchpoints.
Internal Communication: Strengthening employee engagement
- Support managers in creating and executing an internal communication plan, including events, to foster transparency and knowledge sharing. This will help employees understand company’s brand, business operations, talent pool, and future opportunities across entities and local offices in Asia and Oceania.
Crisis Communication
- Understand and follow crisis communication procedures as outlined by GHQ.
- Assist in providing support to GHQ as needed.
- Help provide regional crisis communication guidance and training to employees.
Manage Outsourced Vendors and Partners
- Lead and/or assist in managing outsourced vendors and partners to ensure the successful execution of communication plans while adhering to schedules and budgets.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in communications, branding, marketing, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in branding and/or corporate communication within the maritime industry is an advantage. However, candidates without direct maritime industry experience, but with a strong understanding of the industry, will also be highly valued.
- Ability to develop communication plans under the guidance of a manager.
- Capable of assisting managers in preparing and delivering presentations.
- Proven creativity and project management capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders across different divisions, countries, and entities.
- Motivated to explore new areas, adaptable, resourceful, and a strong team player.
- Solid understanding and experience in developing and managing corporate websites, social media (SNS), and other digital communication channels.
