About our client: Our client is a leading global engineering, procurement, construction & management company, delivering large-scale high-tech, and industrial building projects.
About the role:
· Drive the progress of all design elements in alignment with the Design Checklist.
· Prepare electrical tender packages, including specifications and drawings.
· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to maintain technical competency.
· Manage the tendering and estimating process for electrical works prior to project award.
· Compile and review the Operation and Maintenance Dossier for projects.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure the System Supervisor receives the latest shop drawings, space management drawings, specifications, approved technical submittals, and any scope changes.
· Provide the System Supervisor with a comprehensive briefing on the awarded scope of work, the tender technical documents, and any contractual revisions to the tender documents.
· Evaluate technical submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
· Approve Test Packs throughout the construction process, ensuring each step is completed properly.
· Communicate testing and commissioning criteria to the System Supervisor.
About you:
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
· 10 years of experience in electrical design.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), as well as PDF document generation and management.
· Strong foundational knowledge in electrical design, specifically in areas such as: Lighting Design, Cable Calculations, Short Circuit Calculations
· Basic understanding of local codes and practices for design implementation.
