We are looking for a research associate to work on the development of an AI-power capsule endoscope that emulate a human eye for tracking a fast moving object.


The research associate will work on a project to conduct the investigation on development of ingestible robotic system to enable continuous monitoring of disease relevant biomarkers and decision-making for on-demand delivery of therapeutics in the gastro intestinal tract in a non-invasive and automated manner. Novel sensors and actuators as well as their circuit design interface and algorithms for will be investigated.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of circuit for implementing FPGA and microcontroller for implementing edge computing in ingestible/implantable electronics.
  • Development of AI accelerator for encryption of wireless communication in medical electronics.

Job Requirements:

  • MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, computer engineering, or related field
  • 4-year research experience in related area
  • Expertise in embedded system and FPGA
  • Knowledge in interfacing circuit design for low power sensing and wireless communication
  • Experiences in biosensors and actuators for biomedical applications are highly preferred
  • Publication track record is an advantage
  • Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as C, C++ and Python
