Responsibilities
- Design and develop smart manufacturing and AI solutions in advanced factory scheduling, optimization and simulation that enable the achievement of industry leading manufacturing capability.
- Develop high-quality data analytics and applications that provides actionable insights for management and manufacturing teams.
- Explore and apply new frontier ideas, concepts and technology to enable breakthrough solutions at Micron.
- Work with management, different departments, and global manufacturing sites to identify optimization opportunities and deliver solutions to continuously improve production metrics.
- Drive global collaboration, alignment, and benchmarking of scheduling and simulation solutions.
Requirements

- Strong problem-solving skills with logical approach.
- Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, other technical disciplines, or equivalent professional work experience.
- Proficient in C#, Python and SQL.
- Knowledge and experience in optimization and CPLEX/Gurobi strongly preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in reinforcement learning, machine learning and deep learning preferred.
- Direct experience with factory scheduling, simulation, and application development preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with GCP, Snowflake, Visual studio, GIT, Azure DevOps preferred.
- Able and willing to travel overseas
