This role is based in Singapore.
Job Duties:
- Play an instrumental role in plan definition, budgeting, implementation and tracking IT projects with emphasis in getting things done, collaborate with senior program managers to support the planning and execution of LIMS and other IT projects and assist in maintaining the Project Management Office (PMO) for LIMS Singapore-IT program
- Lead key IT-teams in deriving process/system solutions and manage overall timelines, help develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management and monitor project progress and update project status reports regularly
- Conduct periodic team meetings with IT & Operation team, coordinate project team meetings and ensure effective communication among team members and contribute to identifying potential risks, issues and participate in implementing mitigation strategies
- Gather team members to help execute and contribute to active projects within a program, prepare project-related documentation, presentations, and reports and local represent for regional implementation team and work with Business & Operational team in scoping and implementation planning
- Prepare project details for scoping exercise and implementation, work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate and complete project-related tasks and activities and support post-project evaluations with the Senior Program Manager and associated directors and contribute to implementing lessons learned
- Help Innovate processes by discovering and sharing new best practices across the Team
Job Requirements:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in IT/ Computing / Computer engineering, with minimum of 5 years of experience in Software / Info System or related field
- Experience in with executing projects in a variety of disciplines and/or environments (Experience is Lab Information Management System (LIMS) will be added advantage)
- Basic Understanding of project management principles and methodologies, excellent organizational and time management skills
- Highly detail oriented and motivated self-starter and strong verbal and written communication abilities and ability to adapt ‘hands on’ approach and work collaboratively in an international, cross-divisional team environment
- Quick learner with a proactive and positive attitude and adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges
