Job Description:
- Collaborate with the design team to develop chip floorplans, clock structures, and power plans.
- Perform physical design tasks from Netlist to GDSII, including placement and routing (P&R), formal verification, and static timing analysis (STA).
- Conduct physical verification (PV) and power integrity analysis to ensure design reliability.
- Optimize designs for power, performance, and area (PPA) while adhering to project requirements.
- Research and implement methodologies for advanced process nodes.
- Develop and maintain automated physical design workflows and tools.
- Ensure designs meet quality and performance standards for tapeout readiness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve physical design issues during development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in digital backend design (5+ years preferred); tapeout experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in TCL, Perl, or Python scripting and EDA tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication, teamwork skills, and self-motivation.
