Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer with expertise in Informatica to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement robust data pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Cloud.
- Integrate and transform structured and unstructured data from various sources into the data warehouse or data lake.
- Optimize ETL/ELT processes to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline and workflow issues.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integration solutions.
- Support ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and upgrades to the Informatica environment.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud, or other Informatica tools.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server,PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with data modeling and database design.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and data storage solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Experience with Python, Java, or other programming languages for data processing is an advantage.
