Job Summary
- SAP MM specialist will be responsible for integrating SAP S/4HANA with various logistics systems, including BY-WMS, 3PL, TANGO, regulatory systems, and more.
- The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of SAP Logistics, with expertise in inventory management, transport management, and integration with external systems.
- At least having 1 End to End implementation experience for S/4 and ECC
- Strong in business understanding with minimum experience of 3 years
- Deep understanding of standard supply chain business processes
- Know-how of SAP Technical objects
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Functional areas :
- Managing inventory across stores and DCs
- Integrating SAP with WMS systems and 3PL platforms
- Overseeing regulatory requirements, such as Customs and other logistics-related inventories.
- Collaborating with satellite systems for seamless logistics operations.
Design, Configuration and Customization:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
- Provide functional expertise and guidance to the implementation team during the design and build stage, ensuring alignment with business processes.
- Oversee the configuration and customization of SAP modules, ensuring they meet the defined functional requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP modules with surrounding systems.
System Integration and user acceptance testing:
- Collaborate with the implementation partner to align the test strategy, review, and validate test cases, and provide guidance on functional requirements and test data.
- Participate in test execution activities conducted by the implementation partner, ensuring adherence to the test plan and quality standards, and resolving functional issues as they arise.
- Analyse test results, provide feedback on functional aspects, and collaborate with the implementation partner to prepare test reports, track defects, and facilitate test closure activities.
- Conduct UAT with business users for SAP MOVE related scenarios.
User Training, Cutover and Support:
- Collaborate with the implementation partner to analyse training needs and validate the accuracy and completeness of the training materials they prepare.
- Participate in the delivery of training sessions for end-users, ensuring that the materials cover relevant functional areas and address specific user needs.
- Monitor training effectiveness, gather feedback from end-users, and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance the overall training program.
