Job Description
The Nutritionist will be responsible for developing and implementing nutritional programs, conducting research, and analyzing data to support our health initiatives. This role requires a strong background in nutrition science and proficiency in data management and analysis tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for clients based on their health needs and goals.
- Conduct nutritional assessments and provide evidence-based dietary recommendations.
- Collect, manage, and analyze nutritional data using various data management tools and software.
- Interpret data to identify trends and insights that can improve nutritional programs and outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, researchers, and other stakeholders to support nutritional research projects.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on nutritional findings and recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in nutrition science and data analysis techniques.
- Educate clients and the community on nutrition and healthy eating habits through workshops, seminars, and written materials.
Qualifications
- PhD degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in data management and analysis, preferably in a healthcare or research setting.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of statistical methods and research design.
- Experience in public health nutrition or community nutrition programs.
