Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the maintenance of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Lead and guide technical officers and technicians in performing M&E maintenance tasks.
- Schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for systems such as lifts and escalators, fire protection and alarm systems, auto-doors, anti-terrorist vehicle barriers (ATVB), pumps, and mechanical piping, plumbing, and drainage systems.
- Quickly troubleshoot and resolve faults to minimize operational disruptions.
- Investigate breakdowns, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure maintenance programs comply with safety and statutory standards.
- Analyse equipment performance, identify issues and implement improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history.
- Prepare detailed incident and technical reports.
- Achieve effective, economical, and safe operations of all Electrical Services' equipment and systems by the team of technical officers and technicians.
- Conduct regular inspections of existing Electrical installations to ensure that all maintenance programs are implemented effectively and in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
- Develop work schedules and rosters for technical staff to ensure adequate coverage.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and clients to address and resolve technical issues.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality work.
- Ensure all tasks comply with safety procedures, company policies, and regulations.
- Support ad-hoc projects and assist with rectification works as required.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
- M&E Facilities Management or related M&E fields or FM operations background with at least 3-5 years of Singapore relevant experience will be an added advantage
- Strong communication skills with a positive mindset, hardworking, and capable of multi-tasking effectively.
- Customer Service oriented mindset
- Experience managing and leading a team of technicians
- 5-day work week.
