Responsibilities
- Supports the Head of Department in ensuring the Facilities & Biomedical Engineering department functions efficiently and effectively to achieve strategic objectives.
- Ensures that renovation projects, infrastructure works, day-to-day management of facilities, maintenance support services, operational processes, and department KPIs are consistently kept to a high standard to support operational requirements.
- Oversee renovation projects, infrastructure improvement works, and maintenance of facilities.
- Ensure timely maintenance and replacement of assets, equipment, and fixtures to sustain and optimize their lifecycle with minimal downtime and costs.
- Collaborate with support services teams in areas such as facility engineering, security, car park management, and housekeeping.
- Prepare technical specifications for ITQ/RFP and participate in procurement evaluation as a subject matter expert in facilities management and development.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering/related fields or equivalent with 4+ years of experience, or Diploma in Facilities Management/Engineering/related fields or equivalent with 10+ years of experience and demonstrated competency.
- Strong experience in business operations and project management, particularly in large establishments or institutions, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Independent and resourceful.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
