Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the stakeholders to understand project requirements, define test objectives, and create test plans and test cases.
• Execute test cases, logging and analysing of the results for each test case
• Identify, report and document defects from the testing to track for closure
• Continuously enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing
• Function as a key point of contact for escalation on system issues reported and perform second level investigation.
• Handle enquiries, feedback, and abnormalities for continuous improvement post go-live of features
• Work closely with IT and vendor to resolve project/implementation/production issues.
• Undertake root cause analysis for system issue to implement preventive and corrective measures.
Skills/Requirement
• Bachelor Degree preferably in Business Information Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Preferably with at least 3 years of experience in financial or related industry.
• Familiar with internet trading technologies and investor trends.
• Hands-on experience in developing test cases, test plan, requirements and conducting user testing.
• Good knowledge in equities trading with strong customer mindset of designing processes and solutions.
• Excellent analytical skills with an ability to resolve issues independently.
