Job Description:
The Manager oversees container trucking operations to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and efficient performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise traffic controllers and manage daily trucking operations.
- Plan and optimize truck routes and resources.
- Improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage client relationships and resolve delivery issues.
- Set and track performance goals (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Prepare reports and suggest improvements.
- Perform onsite visits to monitor trucking operations.
Requirements:
- Experience in logistics, trucking, or transport management.
- Familiar with Portnet and shipping documentation.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of port operations and regulations.
