Job Responsibilities:
Compensation and Benefits
- Oversee and ensure compliance with all legal and statutory regulations, as well as headquarters' requirements in the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) function (e.g., MOM regulations, employee-related matters, RBA, etc.).
- Ensure compensation competitiveness by benchmarking against companies in manufacturing, contract manufacturing, and semiconductor industries.
- Plan and supervise the timely execution of the annual merit increment and appraisal process.
- Recommend competitive compensation packages for salary adjustments, including for promotions and upgrades.
- Manage the bonus planning process and ensure payouts are conducted according to guidelines and approved budgets.
- Lead and participate in the annual budgeting exercise.
- Stay updated on market trends and changes in government regulations that impact the company’s compensation and benefits system.
- Develop and maintain HR procedures and documentation related to compensation and benefits.
- Serve as a liaison for HRI and HRMC.
- Drive and implement continuous improvement practices and HR projects within the organization.
Training & Development
- Provide guidance to the HR Administrator regarding Training & Development activities.
- Oversee the training and development needs of employees to enhance skills and support career growth, aligning with business objectives.
- Source, recommend, and conduct training needs analysis using the competency model.
- Act as an internal consultant to develop and facilitate the implementation of learning and development solutions.
Requirements:
- A degree in HR Management is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore employment laws, HR best practices, C&B analysis, and training-related functions.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, open-minded, and with a positive attitude.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
- Experience with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements is a plus.
