Working hours: Mon- Fri 9am-6pm
- Timely and accuracy in financial closing by collating the investment entries prepared by outsourced fund service provider, preparing month end investment accruals and other manual investment entries.
- Prepare Audit Investment Schedules and Investment Reconciliations
- Responsible for adhoc, monthly, quarterly and annual investment reporting to internal stakeholders, MAS and other regulators.
- Perform investment expenses reasonableness check for all outsourced engagements.
- Assist in updating process and controls on adhoc basis by actively looking for improvement in workflow with a view of eliminating control weakness whilst improving efficiency and maintaining accuracy.
- Play the key support role in investments for audit and year end audit.
- Attends monthly service review meetings with outsourced service providers and internal stakeholders.
- Assess impairment of investment assets and document the accounting treatment for new investment activities.
- Other ad hoc duties assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with at least 3 years investment accounting experience
- Good working knowledge of AS400, and Oracle
- Strong knowledge in MAS 122, MAS 129, MAS 133, MAS 307 and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
- Experience in process documentation and using Aladdin and Bloomberg
